--calcSkewByBlackSquares

  • The skew angle for an image is calculated using information about the so called “black squares”.

  • Specifies the value of the JPEG quality in percent for saving color pictures to JPEG format files.

  • Specifies the compression type for ABBYY FineReader Engine temporary image files.

Lossless compression. This compression type provides a medium image file size and the quality of the original image.		 ABBYYLossless
JpegLossy
JPEG lossy compression. This compression type provides the least image file size and the worst image quality.
Uncompressed
This compression type provides the largest image file size, the quality of the original image, and the least processing time.

  • Inverts the colors of the prepared image.

  • Mirrors the prepared image around its vertical axis.

  • Specifies the rotation angle to apply to the image during preparation.

No rotation.
Clockwise
Rotation 90 degrees clockwise.
Counterclockwise
Rotation 90 degrees counterclockwise or 270 degrees clockwise.
Upsidedown
Rotation upside down, or 180 degrees.

--dontSmoothcolorImage

  • Specifies whether a color image should be smoothed. Smoothing the image reduces its size but at the cost of its quality. This key is only taken into account if the -ic key is ABBYYLossless.

  • Specifies the value in dpi to which the horizontal resolution of the image is reduced if the -ior key is used.

  • Specifies the value in dpi to which the vertical resolution of the image is reduced if the -ior key is used.
